Sophiq was founded in 2019 by three visionary industrial engineers, Roberto García, Rogelio López and Guerson Meyer, the company has become a benchmark in the acquisition and personalized transformation of exclusive and unique homes, standing out for their quality, location and elegance.
Rogelio López, Co-Founder & CEO. Entrepreneur and was vice president of strategy for the money transfer segment at Euronet Worldwide. It has established customer-centric business cultures combining disruptive technology with traditional services to create scalable business models. 17 years ago, he moved to Madrid with his family. He left his life in Mexico behind and began his new life in Spain, where as soon as he arrived, his first great challenge awaited him: finding a home.
After visiting numerous apartments and facing various adversities, they moved several times in search of a home that would meet their needs and fit their budget. Despite the difficulty of finding a suitable location, this experience provided him with a deeper understanding of the real estate market in Madrid. He noticed that, in the central areas of the city, the supply of new housing was very limited and the rest of the houses were mostly old and unrenovated. Based on this experience, he began his career in the real estate sector where, later, together with their partners, Roberto and Guerson founded Atipik Properties SL with the current commercial brand “Sophiq Properties”.
Roberto Garcia, Co-Founder & Operations Officer. Businessman with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. His training in industrial engineering and his passion for technology and process systematization continuously improve the efficiency of Sophiq Properties.
Guerson Meyer, Co-Founder & Technology Officer. Passionate about technology, he has extensive experience selling SaaS business software in companies in Silicon Valley. His agile and efficient approach, together with his MBA, drive technological innovation at Sophiq Properties.
